1. Call to order
Chair Irma Lauter called the Advisory Committee meeting to order at 6:05 PM.
2. Lincoln School Apartments Discussion and Vote
Town Counsel Jim Toomey updated the Committee on the status of the Agreement Regarding Rights to Purchase negotiated by Jim and Susan Murphy with Corcoran:
• Corcoran did not commit to pursuit of HUD Section 8 HAP financing
• The Agreement has been signed by Corcoran and is available for signature by the Board of Selectmen in the event Special Town Meeting does not pass the affirmative motion but subsequently passes the alternate motion authorizing the Board to execute the Agreement
• The Agreement is a recordable contract that would be associated with the property deed
The Committee voted unanimously in favor of the alternate motion should Special Town Meeting not pass the affirmative motion.
3. Recess to Join Special Town Meeting
The Chair indicated that there will be no Committee meeting on either November 4th or November 11th.
The meeting was recessed to join the Special Town Meeting at 6:37 PM.
Special Town Meeting adjourned at 9:15 PM having passed the affirmative motion by five votes more than the required two-thirds of the 468 votes cast.
Respectfully submitted,
Jonathan Asher, Secretary
