February 2, 2012 Meeting Minutes
Hingham Town Hall
Present: Committee Members Asher, Johnson, MacCune, Innis, Marwill, Power, Pyles, Farrell, Sharkansky, Taylor, Kutsch, MacKay, Friedman, Eldredge
1. Call to Order
Chairman Jon Asher called the Advisory Committee meeting to order at 7:35 PM.
2. Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the January 24 and January 31, 2012 meetings were approved by a unanimous vote of the members present.
3. Warrant Articles
The following articles were heard and approved by unanimous vote of the members present:
Article A: Hannah Lincoln Whiting Fund/Trustee of Bathing Beach
Article C: Reports of Various Town Committees
Article D: Report of the Personnel Board
Article G: Electric Light Department Receipts
Article H: Assume Liability for DCR on Rivers, Harbors, etc.
Article I: Building Department Revolving Fund
Article J: Elder Services Revolving Fund (approved at $60,000)
Other warrant articles scheduled for hearings, including articles E (Salaries of Town Officers) and EEE (Light Plant Easements) were deferred to future AdCom meetings.
4. Other Business
The members present discussed the remaining meeting dates before Town Meeting and milestones for hearing warrant articles and budgets. There was a brief discussion regarding the expected content for the upcoming Town Forum and AdCom's participation in the Forum.
5. Adjourn
The meeting was adjourned at 9:11 PM.
