Discussion:
We were in attendance of the (HHA) Hingham Housing Authority meeting to get a vote on the (MOA) Memorandum of Understanding presented by the (HAHT) Hingham Affordable Housing Trust in connection with supporting the permitting for both projects along Beal Street at the same time. The two projects are the Selectman’s parcel of 38 –40 units and a proposed rental project from the HHA for 40 –60 units also adjacent to Beal Street. We have been working on the MOA for 5-months and appeared to have Massachusetts Housing Partnership approval at he last meeting which suggested the MOA be prepared. The HHA voted to not enter into the MOA through the reported recommendation of Mr. Davis.
We thanked them for their time and consideration.
Respectfully submitted by: James V. O’Brien, Secretary
