Capital Outlay Committee
Meeting Minutes
Attending: Andy Mooradian, Tom Pyles, Jon Asher, Jerry Seelen, Irma Lauter,
Ted Alexiades

Andy Mooradian called the meeting to order at 6:32PM in the Town Hall Building.
Jon Asher was introduced as the new member and Jerry Seelen as a new Advisory Committee liaison.
Jerry Seelen reported on the status of the Central Fire Station Building Committee project.
Alison Ferrante, Chair of the Committee, introduced the Committee members present (Tina Sherwood, Tom Carey, and Tally Lauter).
Alison updated the Committee on the following:
• Project timeline
• MWRA hookup
• Additional project costs
• Value engineering initiatives
• Modifications to the facade to incorporate historically appropriate elements
• Modification in floor plans
• Bid process and status
She also reviewed the fifteen month timeframe for the project from the Town Meeting appropriation vote to the first shovel in the ground.
Alison informed the Committee that final costs would be available in late September. She also asked the Committee for support at the special Town Meeting tentatively set for early December.
No votes were taken.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:32PM.
