January 16, 2008 Meeting Minutes.
Decision made to table the minutes of 1/16/08. Minutes to be reviewed by the committee and vote on approval at next scheduled meeting
Update on ICLEI
Contract and Scope of Services have been received. The contract was reviewed and was sent back to ICLEI with the revisions.
Contract is expected back by 3/14/08. First review meeting is scheduled for the week of 3/17/08.
Building Energy 08 Conference Update
Pam Harty attended Building Energy 08 Conference in Boston. Speakers focused on how to message to the constituencies in order to turn into actions.
On March 31st a speaker Larry Chretien from Mass Energy Consumers alliance will be at the Hingham Library at 7:00 PM to speak about renewable energy and specifically wind energy.
Green Energy Action Plan Working Session: Outline/Executive Summary
We will table the creation of any draft documents until after Town Meeting.
Town Meeting Warrant Article: Discuss what/how to prepare for Town Meeting
We will make a presentation to town meeting. We intend to spend no more than 10 minutes doing so. Russ will make a presentation after introduction of warrant article
At our next meeting we will need to prepare an anticipated set of questions. The other committee members will be prepared to respond.
