Otto Harling, Pam Harty, Paul Heanue, Victor Popp
- Meeting called to order at 1905
- A motion was made, seconded and the committee unanimously agreed to accept the minutes of the meetings held on 3-10-09 and 5-12-09.
- Otto Harling and Victor Popp met with Source One (Kevin Burchill and Steve Murphy) for help with performance contracting. Otto was of opinion that unless there was $1 or 2m dollars of work we would be unable to find someone who would help. Figures of $20 to 24k were mentioned as a cost to get the reports updated. Otto and /or Victor would speak to John Tzim about getting HMLP to pay for this.
- Results of Lincoln School Apartments energy audits had not arrived at time of meeting. HMLP will share with committee when they arrive.
- Discussion around whether the Committee should recommend to Kevin Paicos that an RFP should be developed in securing a contractor to help with performance contracting or use those already qualified. Given how the conversation went with those already qualified, unanimous to recommend go RFP route.
- HMLP does not see that our buying infra-red camera/s (for about $15k per) aligns with our core mission. Otto to check with Anderson Insulation to see if they would be interested in doing scans as a way to market themselves and as a way to possibly generate new insulation customer leads.
- Decided not to seek a line item for Committee in next year’s Town budget.
- Discussion around what sorts of projects Committee should take on next year.
- Meeting adjourned at 2050.
