Meeting was called to order at 10:25 pm, after the conclusion of the public hearing on the proposed mooring regulations. A quorum was confirmed.
Previous Meeting Minutes:
The previous meeting notes were reviewed. Resident Dana Baxter asked that his comments be noted and stated for the record that he stated in the meeting that the Inner Harbor dredging, in the Town controlled area, was completed on February 15th. Harbormaster Ken Corson advised that the dredging in this area was completed on February 14th. A. Perrault made a motion to approve the minutes with the change. R. Mosher seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the minutes were unanimously approved with the change as requested by Mr. Baxter. C. Daly to make changes to the draft of minutes as approved and distribute.
Harbor Planning Task Force Update
A. Perrault provided an update on the Task Force’s activities to the Committee.
Dock and Pier Regulations
C. Daly advised that the Conservation Commission has implemented their dock and pier regulations into the Town’s waterways regulations.
Historic District Update
N. Amdur gave an update on the status of the Historic Commission’s efforts to create the Barnes-Old Colony Historic District near the Inner Harbor. This proposed warrant article has been pulled off the warrant list for this year’s Town Meeting.
New Business
Nick Bonn, owner of Bare Cove Marina, briefed the Committee on his plans to resolve the parking issue with the Town and also his plans for the building and the property.
C. Daly made a motion to adjourn the meeting. R. Mosher seconded the motion. A vote was taken and it was unanimous in approval. The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 pm
