Minutes of the June 3, 2009 Meeting
of the Country Club Management Committee
Held at the South Shore Country Club

Members Present: Kerry Ryan, Paul Casey and William Friend

Others Attending: Jay McGrail, SSCC’s Director of Operations; Laura Burns, a Hingham Town Selectman; Kevin Paicos, Hingham’s Town Administrator and Irma Lauter, Chairman of the Advisory Committee.

With a quorum present, the meeting was called to order at 9:40 AM.

Kevin Paicos opened the meeting by confirming that everyone present had read the June 2, 2009 e-mail from Jeffrey Tocchio, attorney for Paul Hart. Mr. Paicos explained that this e-mail sets forth the general agenda, for the meeting Jeffery Tocchio and Paul Hart had requested with representatives of the Town of Hingham. After a short discussion, it was suggested that the Country Club Management Committee meeting be moved to Executive Session and that Mr. Hart and Mr. Tocchio be invited to join the meeting.

Thereafter, at 9:50AM, on motion duly made and seconded and individually approved by each of the Country Club Management Committee members present, the committee moved to go into Executive Session for the purpose of listening to settlement negotiation proposals and other information with respect to a possible legal dispute concerning property tax obligations payable to the town of Hingham which are related to the food service operation facilities at the South Shore Country Club.

At 10:30AM, the Executive Session of the CCMC concluded and the Open Session of the committee meeting was reconvened. At this time Mr. Tocchio and Mr. Hart departed from the meeting.

Thereafter, on motion duly made, seconded and unanimously agreed to, the meeting was adjourned
