We have the answer.. Join the senior center volunteer family. Spend a few hours with some of the most entertaining and appreciative citizens of Hingham. Unable to drive themselves around town but still up for a getting out and about, they find themselves in need of transportation for errands like grocery shopping and hairdresser appointments . You can help by volunteering a few hours at a time, either driving the senior center van around town or taking elders to doctors appointments in your own car. You will be paired with a seasoned volunteer during your extensive, programmed orientation. Contact : Betty Fernandes
