Status of Construction

Talbot's pump station continues.  Some sewer force main work remains to be done.
48" work on Town Brook west of Hersey Street continues.  Should be done next week.
Town Brook should be activated in February.
Work behind South Street pump station on transformers and emergency generator continues
Tide gate near harbor has been delivered.   However, due to fish concerns work will not begin until June.
Earth support work continues east of South Street, west of Central St. and between Central & Main.
Relocation of water line in Main Street will begin next week.
Mowing, brush cutting and tie rail removal has begun in West Hingham.  Should be done by middle of next week.  Tree cutting along right of way will follow.

Verizon Update

Meeting today to resolve issues with Cashman.
Town requests that overhead lines on South Street be moved underground.

Town's Concerns

Inspection of 60" sections of Town Brook needs to be scheduled.
The Town would like to walk the line with the arborist to inspect the marking of the area to be cleared.
Town would like to see overall project schedule now that permits are in hand.
Pipe splice use documentation and compaction reports have still not been provided by MBTA.
Some repairs are completed.  Camera inspection of additional sections is scheduled for next week.  Dave Polcari has requested a copy of the video tape.  Pressure testing of new force main is needed.  Sewer representative requested copy of as-built drawing of force main on Lincoln Street.
Dewatering bill still not paid.
Gaps in 48" pipe are larger than contemplated.  This needs to be addressed.
Cashman will be responsible for snow removal and sanding if road is not completed.
Paving on North Street needs to be temporary.  A letter has been sent to Cashman proposing an approach to temporary paving.
Signs that were removed during construction were identified and discussed.  Striping of crosswalks also needed.
Truck plan still needed for excavation material.
