Status of Construction
Kevin McCrea will e-mail 3-week schedule to C. Cristello.
Work on the Talbot's pump station, transformers and generators continues. There are ongoing $ issues with the contractor. CBB quality control inspector to check to see all equipment is in before $ release. Some sewer force main work remains to be done. Project will take 3 weeks from start date to complete. Have to relocate electrical.
The 36" at the SSCC was delayed due to gas line interference and because of union issues with Keyspan.
Earth support work continues west of Central St. two more weeks. Will commence east of South Street next Tue or Wed.
The utility relocation in Central Street will begin April 11 and end in the middle of June. Central Street will be closed during this period. The slurry wall work on South Street needs to take place at the same time.
Central Street gas line to be relocated next week. Trevicos slow, Wednesday, April 20 start.
No right-of-way clearing work in next 3 week calendar.
The drainage punch list from the town has been sent. (Punch list activities have begun.) Working on list.
Verizon Update
Cables would be lifted around May 9 or later, due to other utility work. There will be a meeting on April 28? with Verizon to prepare for the cable lift.
Town requests that overhead lines on South Street be moved underground. The Town should contact Rick Colon.
Town's Concerns
Town waiting for letter from Will Spielvogel addressing Verizon concerns, as well as skim coat paving in front of St. Paul's. Pavement markings no later than May 1 or agreement to close 2 streets is void.
The Town has been assured that tree clearing will be conducted according to previous agreement.
Town would like to see overall project schedule now that permits are in hand. (It is under development.)

Camera inspection of additional sewer sections is completed. The video tape was delivered. The Sewer Department has concerns about the inspection and the condition of the sewer. Sewer representative states that the as-built drawing of force main on Lincoln Street is lacking in detail. Jim Dow presented a letter to Kevin McRea re: sewer concerns.
Paving on North Street needs to be temporary. A letter has been sent to Cashman proposing an approach to temporary paving. (Waiting on DPW Bids) CBB does not do skimming.
Signs that were removed during construction were ordered and some have been replaced.. Striping of crosswalks also needed once the weather improves.
Truck plan still needed for excavation material. The estimate is for 15 trucks a day over a 3-month period, starting in May or June. No report, not sure where material is going yet.
73 North Street requests repair of steps damaged during construction.
Finish grade at 79-87 North Street needs to be corrected, i.e. the curb needs to be reset when sidewalk goes in. (Roger F. to handle)
A grate is needed for the day-lighting structure installed for Town Brook. This may be an environmental issue. Cliff Prentiss is working on it.
Parking:
There is a need to correct the traffic marking on Station St.
Problems with not obtaining street opening permits when off the right of way. Case in point South St. near SSCC was opened w/o permit last week.
Dick Morgan requests the reports on foundation settlement monitoring. "Go pound sand". Reports go to MBTA, they are non-contractual.
