Status of Construction
Work on Talbot's pump station, transformers and generators should be done shortly.
Work on South Street force main will start this week.
The drain on South Street has begun. The catch basin is off line. They are looking into this.
Excavation of westerly boat section continues.
Earth support work continues west of South Street on June 13. Gas line relocation.
Utility relocation Central Street will end middle of June.
Gas line work continues on South Street. June 6, earth support.
Clearing of right-of-way work continues
Drainage punch list has been sent. Working on it.
Verizon
Cable has been raised and encased. Some additional work is needed in North Street. Will wait until after July 4 to let the gas main work finish.
Town's Concerns
Pavement markings will take place after paving.
Overall project schedule?
North Street, Main to Central not videoed. Fiore has not responded to letters. Record drawing on force main relocation also needed.
Paving North Street will be done on Friday.
Signs removed or missing during construction?
Truck plan is being used for excavator material. No problems to date.
New location for siphon is being explored. Answer about easement and the size of siphon is needed from Town.
73 North Street repair of steps. No progress reported.
A grate for day lighting structure for Town Brook. Hinge gate discussed. Cliff working on it.
Sprinkler standpipe has been reviewed. Fire Department is comfortable with locations as long as they are installed as designed.
