Natural Gas line work on South Street will be done by next week.
Fort Hill crossing on the west side to begin June 24. This will involve a traffic detour. There will be a message board set up at French @ Hobart to inform residents of the detour. Work will start on the east side of the crossing after the west side is completed. This will entail a permanent closing of Fort Hill @ Fresh River intersection. This is expected to be on or around mid July.
The West Boat Section work had a truck start working before 7 am. The operator was informed to stop and he did. This has been the only time this has happened.
The Paving Company will be DONNY MARTIN. Aggregate Industries will do the milling.
The Air Release Valve for the sewer line will be arriving June 17. This is for the South Street Force main re-location. There will be no cut on the Central Street line until the sewer pumping station is on-line. It is on-line as of June 15 but they want a week of operation to make sure all is well before the cut over to the gravity main. The Sewer Station Performance test has been done and they are waiting on the final report. Preliminary results look to be OK.
Verizon asked about the paving for North Street. They are "Dig Safe" marking the road for the excavation. Supporting of Verizon Duct Bank should be done on or about June 24.
