Greenbush Coordination Meeting Notes
September 22, 2005

Status of Construction

Earth support work on both South Street and Central Street continues.  Work on South Street should be done in two weeks and the road should be opened to traffic.  Central Street will be closed for at least three more weeks.
Fort Hill crossing and intersection work is completed.  The second Fort Hill entrance is now permanently closed.  A crosswalk is needed.
The contractor has delayed the closure of Weir Street.  The Town is looking to change the location of the cul-de-sac.  An easement is currently in the works.
The west boat section work has encountered a great deal of water.  Excavation work continues.  Excavation of the existing boat section will begin next week.
Clearing right-of-way and tie and rail removal continues.

Town's Concerns

South Street is partially open.  The Town requests that both Central and South be reopened as soon as possible.
Record drawing for force main and resolution of TV inspection at Talbots and sewer repair, including air release valve, on North Street still outstanding.  Manhole cover is offset and needs to be realigned prior to final paving.  David Polcari of CDM presented a letter on excessive infiltration at North and Central Street.  A sewer service was clogged and needed repair due to grout infiltration
The Town is still exploring the Town Brook easement.  The Town engineer suggests a 42" or 48" siphon for Town Brook.  A meeting is necessary to look at a new design.  CBB suggests a meeting with sewer representatives to resolve outstanding issues.
The Town has provided estimate for North Street paving.  The Town requests an executed MOU from CBB.  There is still a disagreement on the Contractor's responsibilities.
The Town is waiting on an overall project schedule.  The M BTA says it will be available soon.
Sewer odor downtown at Square Cafe last week and at Talbots'  parking lot.  The Sewer Department has advised the wet well and the odors have now gone away.
Punch list continues.  Major items remaining are largely related to sewer work.  There is agreement by all parties on the outstanding issues.
Cliff Prentiss will produce a shop drawing for a gate design for the Town Brook to show DEP.
The Town raised the concern about the amount of dewatering going on in the boat sections.
