Status of Construction
The North Street sidewalk will take place over the next two weeks.
54" work will begin the week of November 15.
North and Station Streets should be done by end of next week.
72" drain between Main and Central is on hold due to archeological work.
Gas line on Station Street should be done.
Talbot's pump station has begun. The construction will take at least 6 months.
Lincoln Street sewer to start November 22 and take 3 weeks.
Drainage work on North and South Streets will take place the week of November 15. It should take only a few days.
Verizon
Preliminary excavation for the tidegate will begin in order to explore the underground parameters of the work.
Repair work on the stonewall will begin this week.
Cashman is getting very close to their utilities.
Expect to close up Station Street next week.
Will need to open street near the Snug after the holidays.
Town's Concerns
Pipe splice use documentation and compaction reports have still not been provided by MBTA.
Sewer inspection has been done but the tape of the inspectin is missing.
Dewatering bill still not paid.
Cashman will be responsible for snow removal and sanding if road is not completed.
Water loss at 89 North Street was not caused by CBB or Fiore.
