Status of Construction
Archeological work begins tomorrow on Central Street. Hopefully, it will not result in excessive delays. 72" drain between Main and Central is on hold due to archeological work.
54" work will begin the week of November 22.
North and Station Streets should be done by end of the week. Road should be opened by next Friday.
The North Street sidewalk will take place next week.
Talbot's pump station continues. The construction will take at least several weeks.
Lincoln Street sewer to start in early December and take 3 weeks.
Work behind South Street pump station on transformers and emergency generator will begin next week.
Stone wall work is done.
No Verizon representatives were in attendance.
Town's Concerns
Pipe splice use documentation and compaction reports have still not been provided by MBTA.
Sewer inspection has been done. Some repairs are needed. Camera inspection of additional sections is still needed.
Dewatering bill still not paid.
Cashman will be responsible for snow removal and sanding if road is not completed.
Paving on North Street needs to be temporary. Striping on North Street still needs to be done. A Jersey barrier is needed at North and Station Streets.
