Greenbush Coordination Meeting Notes
December 1, 2005

Status of Construction

Fort Hill intersection continues.  A berm is needed on the right hand side.  A sign is needed at the island.  New light poles are needed to illuminate the grade crossing.  Mass Electric pole needs to be moved.  The Town will contact state legislators to get help with this item.
Excavation west of Central Street and west of South Street continues.
Clearing right-of-way and tie and rail removal is finished for awhile.
Construction east of South Street continues.
The contractor has delayed the closure of Weir Street.  The Town is looking to change the location of the cul-de-sac.  An easement is currently in the works.

Town's Concerns

Record drawing for force main and resolution of TV inspection at Talbots and sewer repair on North Street still outstanding.  The air release valve was installed.  Manhole cover is offset and needs to be realigned prior to final paving.  David Polcari of CDM presented a letter on excessive infiltration at North and Central Street.  The sewer service bill was paid.  There is a sag in the sewer pipe in North Street that needs to be addressed.  Sewer odor problem has been improved but not entirely eliminated.
The Town is still exploring the Town Brook easement.  The Town engineer is reviewing a 24" design.
The Town has provided estimate for North Street paving.  The Town requests an executed MOU from CBB.  There is still a disagreement on the Contractor's responsibilities.
The Town is waiting on an overall project schedule.  The M BTA says it will be available soon.
Punch list continues.  Major items remaining are largely related to sewer work.  There is agreement by all parties on the outstanding issues.
Cliff Prentiss will produce a shop drawing for a gate design for the Town Brook to show DEP.
The Town raised the concern about the amount of dewatering going on in the boat sections.
