Status of Construction
Archeological work continues on Central Street.
72" drain between Main and Central will not start until after Christmas.
54" work began today on Hersey Street
The North Street sidewalk will take place next week.
Talbot's pump station continues. The construction will take at least several weeks.
Lincoln Street sewer to start after Christmas.
Work behind South Street pump station on transformers and emergency generator continues.
Work around tide gate near harbor will take place over next several weeks.
No update on Verizon
Town's Concerns
Pipe splice use documentation and compaction reports have still not been provided by MBTA.
Sewer inspection has been done. Some repairs are needed. Camera inspection of additional sections is still needed.
Dewatering bill still not paid.
Cashman will be responsible for snow removal and sanding if road is not completed.
Paving on North Street needs to be temporary.
Blue plastic sheeting is a concern of the Fire Department. The material is flammable.
Truck plan still needed for excavation material.
