Status of Construction
Talbot's pump station continues. The construction will take at least several weeks.
72" drain at Central St. will be done Monday.
54" work is done at the moment until permits come in.
The North St. sidewalk will be finished next week.
Lincoln Street sewer to start after Christmas. It is expected to take 3 weeks or less.
Work behind South Street pump station on transformers and emergency generator continues
Work on tide gate near harbor should begin after the new year.
Earth support work will shut down during Christmas week.
Verizon Update
No progress on negotiations with Cashman.
The Board of Selectmen will discuss alteration of the grant of location on January 4, 2005.
Zoning Board of Appeals hearing on the new equipment box on Central St. is this Thursday.
Town's Concerns
Pipe splice use documentation and compaction reports have still not been provided by MBTA.
Sewer inspection has been done. Some repairs are in progress. Camera inspection of additional sections is being done today.
Dewatering bill still not paid.
Cashman will be responsible for snow removal and sanding if road is not completed.
Paving on North Street needs to be temporary. A letter has been sent to Cashman proposing an approach to temporary paving.
Signs that were removed during construction were identified and discussed.
Truck plan still needed for excavation material.
