Present: Planning Board Members, Paul Healey Susan Murphy, and Gary Tondorf-Dick. Also present was Planner Katharine Lacy.
7:00 Continuation of Zoning Hearings-Harbor Overlay District
The Planning Board met with representative from the Harbor Task Force and others to continue work on the proposed amendment to the Zoning By-Law to create a Harbor Overlay District, which will include all of the parcels along Hingham Harbor from the Bathing Beach to Steamboat Wharf.
Previous meetings focused on the purpose of the By-law, and the limited changes to what uses would be permitted. This meeting continued the discussion of uses, and then focused on modifications to the dimensional requirements in the three parcels with underlying zoning in the Waterfront Business District, which are currently extremely restrictive.
The Overlay District will be discussed further at the next Harbor Task Force meeting on March 3, as well as at the Planning Board meeting of March 8.

The Planning Board minutes for February 8 were approved.
