The regular meeting of the Board of Retirement was duly posted to be held in the East Hearing Room of the Hingham Town Hall on the above date. Board members Ted C. Alexiades, Eileen A. McCracken and Harry F.G. Wey, III were present. Jean M. Montgomery and Thomas P. Hall were absent. Susan Nickerson, Assistant Town Accountant is recording the minutes of meeting.
The meeting was called to order by Ted C. Alexiades at 10:05 A.M.
Chairman Alexiades updated the board members as to the medical condition of Nancy Hutt, Administrative Assistant to the Board. On March 9, 2009, Mrs. Hutt broke her ankle and was immediately hospitalized and underwent an operation to repair the ankle. Mrs. Hutt has remained out of work since the accident however she does intend to return to work on a part-time basis in late March/early April 2009. Michael Daley of Financial Advisory Associates was hired to process the March 209 Retiree Payroll (specifically printing checks, notices of deposit and running essential monthly reports). No expense warrant was produced for March 2008. All invoices received in March 2008 will be paid on the expense warrant in April 2008.

VOTED to issue payment for the following monthly Warrant:
Retirement Allowances (March 2009)
Pension $ 381,124.29
Annuity $ 61,239.36
Veteran Benefit $ 64.01
Cost of Living $ 0.00
Dependent Allowance $ 444.66
Total Warrant #PR0309 $ 442,872.32

VOTED to adjourn the regular business meeting at 10:20 A.M.
