The Board introduced the newly appointed Town Administrator to members of the audience.
David Beal of the Harbor Development Committee advised the Board that three posts of the fence on Whitney Wharf are not secured properly and that the fence is quite shaky. Additionally the fence material continues to deteriorate. Mr. Beal also noted that the blocks on the top of the wall are spreading. He presented the Board with a picture to illustrate the problem. Mr. Beal said that the Committee hoped the Board would pursue the contractor or designer to get the fence repaired.
Voted - to remove the fence at Whitney Wharf.
The Board voted, by roll call vote, to adjourn to executive session for purpose of discussing collective bargaining.
