Public Hearing on the application of Country Club Management Committee to transfer the Restaurant All Alcoholic Beverage License and to extend the premises.
Present: Members of the Country Club Management Committee, Jay McGrail, Director of Operations, and Elio Ricci, current manager. Mr. and Mrs. McKay, abutters were also present. Mr. McGrail explained that this application is requesting to transfer the All Alcoholic Beverages License of the Country Club from the Country Club Management Committee to the Town of Hingham. The Selectmen had signed a Management Services Lease Agreement between the Town of Hingham (as landlord) and Vista Verde Corp (as tenant) for the purposes of operating a restaurant and banquet business. Mr. Ricci would continue as manager as he is the Manager and President of Vista Verde Corp.
This application is also requesting that the premises be extended to allow alcoholic beverages to be sold on the golf course, from a roving cart, and a snack shack to be located behind the 9th green.
No one appeared in opposition and it was,
Voted - to approve the application for the Transfer of the All Alcoholic Beverages License and the Extension of Premises from the Country Club Management Committee d/b/a South Shore Country Club, Elio Ricci, Manager to the Town of Hingham d/b/a South Shore Country Club, Elio Ricci, Manager 274 South Street, subject to the approval of the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission.
