Emergency Session of the Board of Selectmen
Mr. Rabuffo, Ms. Burns, Kevin Paicos, Town Administrator
Emergency meeting convened to consider appointment of candidates to the Hingham Police Department in advance of a July 1 hiring deadline, which does not allow for 48 hours’ notice.
Voted - unanimously to approve the Lateral Transfer of Nicholas S. Smith and John P.
Marquardt to the Town of Hingham from the Town of Abington. The effective date of their appointment as full time permanent police officers is July 1, 2010.
