Special Session 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Rabuffo, Mr. Riley, Ms. Burns
The meeting was called to order at Hingham High School.
Ms. Murphy explained that John McDowell, the buyer of the Hersey House property, had signed the Purchase and Sale Agreement and forwarded a copy of the signed documents via email. The Board reviewed the document with Ms. Murphy and then
Voted - to sign Real Estate Purchase Agreement between the Town of Hingham and John McDowell for the property located at 229 North Street, Hingham.
Ms. Foley reviewed to requests for counsel received from the Board of Appeals. Both matters had been referred to real estate counsel for an estimate of the time involved.
Voted - to grant request for counsel as submitted by the Board of Appeals
Voted - to grant a temporary liquor license to the South Shore Arts Center for a reception on May 6, 2011.
Voted - to sign a letter of intent with Verizon for the relocation of poles at the intersection of Derby Street and Pond Park Road.
Voted - to sign a Management Agreement with the Board of Assessors.
The Board voted by roll call vote to go into executive session to discuss collective bargaining an contract
negotiations and to return to open session for the Annual Town Meeting.
Mr. Riley – yes, Ms. Burns – yes, Mr. Rabuffo – yes.
Open session adjourned 6:30 pm.
The Board returned to open session for the annual town meeting at 7:00 pm.
