Sewer Stations Operated and Maintained by the Hingham Sewer Department
Town Brook Station 75 South Street
Located in downtown Hingham, this station was built in 1956. It had a new diesel generator installed in 2001. Both pumps have been rebuilt in the past 6 years and a new bubbler style liquid level controller was installed to replace the old air compressor and float sysytem. Several electrical updates, upgrades and modifications have been performed here recently. A new diesel storage tank was installed inside the station when the in-ground storage tank was removed.
