West Corner Pump Station

The Weir River Sewer District was constructed in 1998, the station began pumping flow in August. The station now handles flow from 145 houses in Hingham as well as several in Cohasset.  All flow from here is pumped to the Hull Sewer Treatment Plant.

The station operates with two 4-inch non-clog submersible pumps. It is equipped with a natural gas powered emergency generator in the event of a power outage.
