NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE HINGHAM ZONING BY-LAW
FOR CONSIDERATION AT THE 2011 TOWN MEETING
7:00 P.M., MONDAY, JANUARY 31, 2011

The Town of Hingham Planning Board will hold a public hearing pursuant to G.L. c. 40A, s. 5 on
January 31, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Hingham Town Hall, 210 Central Street, Hingham, Massachusetts. The purpose of the public hearing is to provide interested parties with an opportunity to comment on proposed changes to the Hingham Zoning By-Law. The proposed amendments include:
ARTICLE 12: To see if the Town will amend the Hingham Zoning By-Law at Section IV-G, Schedule of Uses, at subsection 8(a)(ii), replace the existing sentence "Residential use as allowed by paragraph 8(c) shall not exceed 15% of the total allowable project square footage," with the following sentence "Residential use as allowed by paragraph 8(c) shall not exceed 15% of the total allowable project square footage; provided, however, that an additional 1.5% of residential use shall be allowed if located in a Commercial/Residential Building."
