The Town of Hingham Massachusetts will accept sealed bids for the Manufacturing and Installation of Crosswalk Surface Treatment for Town infrastructure under MGL Chapter 30 & 39M and Chapter 149. Bid Packages are available; requirements are listed in the bid packages. Annual estimated value of contract $45,000 (Forty-Five Thousand Dollars) – 5% Bid Bond Required.

All bid questions must be submitted in writing. All bids must be made on the bid forms supplied, and the bid proposal forms must be fully completed when submitted, including any signed addendums that may be issued. Any prospective bidder obtaining informal bid packages from the Town of Hingham website and/or via email must notify the Town and provided there contact information to be added to the bid holders list in order to receive addenda and notices. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to assure that the bidder's information has been received and recorded.

Requests for a bid package electronically must be made 48 hours prior to the bid opening. The Town is not responsible for requests and/or addenda failing to be "sent or received" as a result of service failure, internet failure, electronic failure, or weather related events. If a request is made for a bid package and/or addenda electronically it is the sole responsibility of the prospective bidder to confirm their request and/or information has been received or sent. Do NOT submit bids electronically (by email). A 5% bid security (bond or certified check) required.
